All Stardust

©2019-2024

Life represents a highly complex interdependence of matter and energy between a multitude of species, both outside and within us. My skin, my body is my biom, my microbes, my viruses, and they all came from stardust.

My computer, my cell phone, and my blender are also made of organic matter, rocks, minerals, and originally stardust. In many ways, there is a kinship between me and these objects. My physical condition also depends on factors such as heat, cold, and humidity. I immediately react physically and psychologically to positive, negative or excessive messages; I am helplessly exposed to a short circuit in the short term.

I am also affected by the huge amounts of CO2, heat and production waste that are generated for these goods.

The interdependence of body, technology and biosphere is pervasive and affects not only our human relationships, but also our relationships with other living beings and the non-human world.

There is an ambivalence between the inanimate and the animate, the artificial and the natural, a blurring of the boundaries in between, a reorientation towards non-binary ways of thinking and feeling. This state of being not only fully human is a strange beauty and cannot really be grasped, cannot be verbally described.

A time of transition that is unique and ours to live with clouded attention.
